The words on this piece are taken from the song/tefillah "az yashir" that was sung while the nation of yisrael walked through the yam suf/splitting of the sea.

Then Moshe and the Children of Israel sang this song to God. And they said the following...
God is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will make Him a dwelling; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
"This is my God" - in that moment, the miracle of the parted sea made Hashem's presence undeniable. It was so clear that anyone could point to the water towering above them and say "this is it. This is my God taking care of me."
This painting reminds us that when God split the sea for the Bnei Yisrael over 3,300 years ago, it wasn't just for those standing on the sand that day. He was making a choice for every single Jewish person from that day forward - including you. He parted the sea so that you could be here today.

No matter where we are in life, His hashgacha pratis (divine intervention) is there, guiding each of us through our own personal yam suf (sea of reeds)
